Topics of interest
On the base of I-CSR's mission, operating nationally in the dissemination of Corporate Social Responsibility, and its institutional purposes, aimed at fostering the dialogue between private and public institutions, social partners and other stakeholders, the Centre's activities will be oriented according to some basic criteria:
- to state its institutional and systemic role, aimed at stimulating the sharing of Bilaterality in the negotiation of concrete measures between the social partners, both nationally and locally, by encouraging the development of social responsibility and dissemination of effective good practices;
- to undertake a continuous monitoring in the CSR field, through the establishment and maintenance of national databases and publication of periodic reports, contributing to the spread of a culture oriented to achieving results based on appropriate and transparent control mechanisms of good management models;
- to be usable by the Ministry of Welfare, by other Ministries or Agencies to set policies in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, and by the social partners and other stakeholders to develop shared models, and multilateral negotiations;
- to serve as catalyst and national benchmark in the CSR field, taking into account the activities of the major centers available on these issues, by participating in the initiatives that suites to the values of the Foundation and by developing institutional collaboration on the topics of major interest.
Based on these criteria, and in order to contribute to the emergence and affirmation of high value and impact experiences, the initiatives of the Foundation will refer mainly to the following areas:
- Health and Safety at Work
- Work-life balance
- Life long education programs
- Bilaterality - involvement
For the relevance and the wide impact and benefits of these themes, as well as for their role of social cohesion, the mentioned areas will be the subject of specific initiatives and collaborations with key institutional actors and social partners to strengthen the culture of accountability, the sharing of objectives and actions and the monitoring and dissemination of tangible results.
