Managerial Education and CSR: A survey on recent CSR trends. A comparison among North America, Europe, and Italy
The research aims at analyzing and highlighting how the North American, European, and Italian Universities are moving towards the inclusion of the Corporate Social Responsibility theme in their syllabi. We analyse at first the long-term experiences in this area, such as the American ones followed by the European.
After the description of the international trends, we focus the attention on the Italian scene and in particular on the increasing number of the educational proposals offered by the Schools of Economics in subjects such as CSR, Corporate Citizenship, Business Ethics etc. The research shows as on one side there is a wide range of educational opportunities but on the other side the overall approach of the universities is still uneven, not transversal and isolated.
Based on these findings, the research ends with some suggestions devoted to those teachers and universities interested in overcoming the existing obstacles to the full and effective implementation of the mentioned subjects.
The research is available only in Italian language.
